Marie T. Wood July 21, 1941 - October 15, 2026

Marie T. Wood, 85, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Chester, PA. She graduated from Notre Dame High School, worked for Boeing in her younger years, and worked as an aide at Holy Ghost School years later. Above all else in her life, her family was the most important thing to her, and she cherished the times they were all together.

Marie was predeceased by her former husband Joseph Wood; her parents Alexander and Helen Ruggieri; her brother Alec Ruggieri; and her son Baby Joseph Wood.

She is survived by her sister Pat Clark and brothers Anthony Ruggieri and Jerry Ruggieri; her children Karen Krauss, Michelle Wood, Michael Wood, and Christopher Wood; her grandchildren Bobby Krauss, Brandon Krauss and wife Miranda, Kristen Krauss and companion Pat; Zachary Hallman and wife Courtney, Anthony Hallman, and Gianna Hallman; Mikey Wood and Jada Wood; Christopher Bingnear, Nicholas Wood and Natalie Wood; Her great grandchildren Jordan, Maddie, Rylan, Kolten and Alana.

Along with a host of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her visitation on Friday, October 23rd from 11:00am -12:00pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgemont Avenue Brookhaven, Pa 19015 followed by her funeral service at 12:00pm.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Marie Wood to an organization of choice or to Main line health hospice or Providence Animal Center.
