Kenneth Glenn Podberesky, age 70, a longtime resident of Brookhaven, passed away peacefully at his home on August 3, 2026.
Born in West Philadelphia, Kenneth was raised in the Overbrook Park neighborhood, where he attended Overbrook High School. After graduating, he proudly served in the United States Air Force for five years and was honorably discharged. A devoted patriot, Kenny had a deep love for his country and humanity. He was proud to be an American Jew.
Kenny had a passion for World War II history and was an avid history enthusiast. Moreover, he was a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan! He recently retired after a successful career in the HVAC industry.
He is survived by his brother, Joel (Elena) Podberesky; children, Daniella (Allen) Dobromislov, Catrina Podberesky, Theodore Podberesky, Nathaniel Podberesky; grandson, Salvatore Jacob Dobromislov; and lifetime friends, Patricia Mays and Nancy Altschuler.
His graveside service, along with military honors, will be on Friday, 11 am, August 7, 2026, at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
