Kathleen Frances Bell, age 69, formerly of Upland, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2023.
Kathie grew up in Upland and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan. She was a big fan of wrestling and was actively involved with local independent wrestling clubs. Kathie booked matches, was a ring announcer, and a big promoter. Family was also very important, and she enjoyed spending time in Wildwood, NJ. Kathie worked in the medical field for 50 years, working in nursing home administration and multiple Dr’s offices. Her family and friends knew she was always willing to lend a helping hand or just sit and listen to anyone in need.
She was predeceased by her parents, Milton and Margaret Branon; brother, Milton Branon; sister, Cheryl Branon, and her son, Phillip Bell.
Kathie is survived by her son, Kenny Bell, Jr.; grandson, Mason Bell; her sisters, Anne (Noel) Yannessa of Tucson, AZ, Peggy (Joe) Bell of McKinney, TX, and Patricia (Ray) Chu of Media, PA; and her friend Tarik Bouziane.
Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 10:00-11:45AM at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Avenue Brookhaven, PA followed by her funeral service at 12 Noon.
Burial will take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Linwood, PA.
