Judith Ann McClain February 5, 1941 - November 1, 2022

Judith Ann McClain (née Wagner) age 81, formerly a longtime resident of Brookhaven, passed away on November 1, 2022 at her home in Millsboro, DE.

She was born in Chester raised in Parkside, and graduated from Swarthmore High School.

Judy was predeceased by her husband, James “Barrell” McClain, her parents James and Margaret Wagner, and her brother, James Wagner.

Judy was a long time employee of Fair Acres where she served in a variety of roles, most notably as the X Ray Technician but most recently as the transportation coordinator for patient services.

Judy loved all Philadelphia sports and even worked for the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Union in her retirement.

She enjoyed traveling, her dogs, and attending her grandchildren’s sports and activities. But most of all she loved the beach, moving to Long Neck, DE to be closer to the sand and surf.

SURVIVORS: Her 2 SONS: Michael J. McClain of Brookhaven and Thomas J. McClain of Chester Springs. Nephew Robert Wagner of Sarasota, FL. She was the grandmother of Zac, Garrett and Brayden McClain.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 8th at 11AM at Mount Hope Cemetery 4010 Concord Rd. Aston, PA 19014.

    Kathy and I are so glad to have met her. She was one of the first people we met when moving to Seaside. The park will never be the same. She was a wonderful woman. She will always be in our hearts. Our condolences.
