Jennie Parsons February 12, 1922 - April 29, 2017

Jennie Parsons, 95, passed away on Saturday the twenty ninth of April, 2017 in the Universal Healthcare Nursing Center, Bolivia, NC.
 
Ms. Parsons was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 12, 1922 and was daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Forte DiCrecchio. She is predeceased by her husband, George S. Parsons, Jr. and son George S. Parsons, III. She was raised on a farm in Secane, PA. She graduated Upper Darby High School and worked briefly as a secretary in real estate. She was loving housewife, mother and caregiver who had a passion for Bingo.
 
She is survived by her two daughters, Kitty Wrench (Parsons) of Ocean City, MD; Pam La Rosa (Parsons) and husband Tee La Rosa of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Mary Ellin Parsons (Medkeff) of Middletown, DE.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday the fifth of May, 2017 in the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA. Burial will follow in the Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE. 19720.
 
You are invited to a time of visitation with the family from 9 am to 10:00 am, prior to the service, at Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, Brookhaven, PA.
