Isabel Boyajian Mamasian, 85, of the Philadelphia area, passed away on August 12, 2026. Born on February 20, 1941, in Victoria de las Tunas, Oriente, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Juan and Ana Boyajian. Isabel grew up in Cuba, before moving to the United States with her sister, eventually settling in the Philadelphia area, where she made her home for most of her life. As a young woman, she was an artist and a violinist, an avid horse rider and spoke three languages, as well as graduating with honors from school. Isabel was a beloved member of Harmony Hall at Elwyn, where she was affectionately known as Mamma Iz. She is survived by her sisters, Siran Boyajian Casacuberta and Alicia Boyajian De la Cruz, along with three nieces and three nephews.

A short service will be held prior to her burial on Wednesday, August 19, at 10:30 a.m., at Eastlawn Cemetery in Delaware County, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Isabel’s memory may be made to Friends of Harmony Hall,  (https://www.friendsofharmonyhall.org/restoration-donation).
