Helen M. Nord, 87,

passed away October 15, 2007 at TelHai Retirement Community, Honey Brook, Pa. Born January 29, 1920 in Alderson, Oklahoma, she resided in Brookhaven, Pa, and was a previous resident of Holmes, Pa. She attended Craig Colony School of Nursing, class of 1941. She worked for Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital, Darby, Pa, and Mercy Catholic Medical Center where she retired in 1986.

She is a veteran of the US Army, being a nurse in WWII.

She was the wife of the late John Nord for 60 years. She was the daughter of late John and Caroline Slusarick. She was the mother of Robert Nord of Elverson, Pa, Ronald Nord of Philadelphia, Pa, John Nord, Gary Nord, and sister of Stanley Slusarick of Prospect, NY, and the late John, Joseph, Frank, amd Julian Nord, Nellie Perri of Utica, NY, the late Anne Slusarick
