Helen J. Ruggieri, 84,

passed away February 2, 2010 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. Born in Buffalo, NY, she has resided in Brookhaven, Pa, since 1992. She previously resided in Chester, Pa, and Quarryville, Pa.

She attended Ridley Park High School. She was a clerk for Speare Brothers for 20 years and also Stotters Department Store, Chester, Pa. She was an outstanding cook and baker, loved animals, cared for the back yard critters, enjoyed time with friends @ The Parkside Seniors Club, and loved spending time with her family.

She was the wife of the late Michael Ruggieri for 44 years before he passed in 1992.

She was the loving mother of Michael Ruggieri of Brookhaven, Pa, and stepmother of Abramo “Mike” Ruggieri of Media, Pa. She was the sister of Julia Coyle of Newtown Square, Pa.

She was the grandmother of Gina, Nicole, and Victor Ruggieri and aunt of Carol Martelli, Kay McDade, Suzanne Rath, Barbara Mattio.

Funeral service will be held Thursday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.

Visitation 9:30-10:30am Thursday at the church.

Interment Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, Pa
