Helen DeViese, 83, passed away May 14, 2011 at Brandywine at the Gables, and Assisted Living facility, where she resided for the past 2 years in Brick, New Jersey to be near her sister, Dolly Cunningham, and her neice and nephew, Laurie and Mike Cannon and their children. Born in Chester, Pa, she was a former resident of Parkside, Pa. She worked for the Wirz Company. She belonged to Our Lady of Charity Church, Brookhaven. She was the wife of the late William DeViese for 56 years before his passing. She was the daughter of the late Catherine and Andrew Mayka. She is the sister of the late Edward Mayka and Patricia Perski . She is survived by her siblings Dennis Mayka and Dolores Cunningham. Funeral service Wednesday 10 am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation 9-10am at the funeral home. Interment Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Anville, Pa.
