Francis “Frank” Salvadore, Sr., 78, passed away August 21, 2023 at his home. Born in Chester, he resided for many years in Aston, and most recently in Brookhaven, at the Traditions of Ridley Creek. He was a graduate of St. James High School. For over 60 years, Frank was a barber and owned Franks Barber Shop in Brookhaven. He had a love for animals and was an avid Eagles fan. He enjoyed watching the game every Sunday with his family. Frank was a loving and devoted family man and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara Salvadore; his parents Mary and John Salvadore; and his brother General John “Jack” Salvadore.

Frank is survived by his loving son Frank A. Salvadore, Jr. (Dina); his sister Phyllis Crepack (Mike); brother Joseph Salvadore (Cathy); sister-in-law Meg Salvadore; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will take place Friday 12 noon at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation from 10am-12noon Friday at the funeral home. Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Online condolences can be sent via www.batemanallenfuneralhome.com

    Frank will be missed by many among those who shared living at Traditions. He was so friendly and always provided a smile as we went in and out living our lives.
