Florence E. Polisky October 13, 1915 - October 16, 2006

Florence E. Polisky, 91, passed away October 16, 2006 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. Born in Wyoming, Pa, she was a resident of Brookhaven, Pa, for 52 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Charity Church, Brookhaven, Pa, and Providence Ave. Methodist Church Thrift Shop. She loved to bowl, play bingo, crafts, and sewing. She was the wife of the late John A. Polisky Sr. who passed away in 1997. She was also predeceased by her son Robert A. Polisky who passed in 1988. She was survived by her sons, John A. Polisky of Upper Chichester, Pa, and Daniel Polisky of Brookhaven, Pa, and her sisters, Frances Grier of Greenbrook, NJ, and Nancy Gross of Pittston, Pa. Grandmother of 9 and Great-grandmother of 20. Funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Friday evening 7pm-9pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Interment S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
