EUGENE P. CASTAGLIUOLO, SR., 79,
passed away September 29 at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA, with his family by his side.
He was a resident of Aldan, PA for past 13 yrs; originally from Philadelphia.
He was a graduate of Pennsylvania Military College (PMC, later changed to Widener University) BS 1968 (business management) & MBA 1971
He worked for Boeing, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, The Internal Revenue Service.
He was a member of the American Legion.
A lifelong learner, he had great interest in nature, art, history, music and education. After retiring, he enjoyed collectibles and creating large, beautiful handcrafted wooden ships, which will be forever treasured by those he loved. He taught himself how to repair, build or improve almost anything, which enabled him to help many people with work on their homes that they could not otherwise do themselves. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was the father of Eugene, Jr., (the late) Michael, Mark,
Michele (Joseph) Ricci.
He was the brother of (the late Ernie & Carl) Survived by George & Albert, (the late Marie Colantuno & Clara Navazio).
Grandchildren (6): Maria, Edward, Nicholas, Joseph, Benjamin & Michael
Funeral Mass/Calling Hours: There will be no viewing. Mass of Christian Burial will begin promptly at 10:00am, Thursday, October 7th, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 43 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ. Interrment will be private.
