Dorothy L. Chiponis September 28, 1934 - December 19, 2015

Dorothy Suda Chiponis, passed away December 19, 2015 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Kingston, Pa, to the late Alice and John Suda. She was a graduate of Chester High School and a long

time resident of Brookhaven, Pa. Dorothy was a Special Education Teacher Assistant for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit, retiring in 2004. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her house, the beach, and being with her family. Working as a Special Education Teacher Assistant, she had a special rapport with her students. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Charity Church and a member of the AARP Teamsters Union.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Francis Chiponis; her children James (Diane) Chiponis, Karen (William) Pauciello, Cynthia (Joseph) Ferguson, and Joseph (Kristin) Chiponis; and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral Mass Wednesday 1pm at our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Wednesday 12-1pm at the church. Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, Pa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Crozer Regional Cancer Center, 1 Medical Blvd., Upland, Pa.
