Diane Gallagher, 68, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026. Born and raised in Brookhaven, she lived most of her life in Parkside, PA. She was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, class of ’75 and received her bachelor’s degree from Moore College of the Arts. She was the owner of Little Angels Mother’s Morning Out for many years. In 2002 she became a Unit Director for Elwyn where she retired 8 years ago.
She volunteered at Truwood Assisted Living after her retirement. She also enjoyed crafting and taking care of the beautiful fish tanks that were handed down from her dad. She liked to play cards and spend time with her close friends. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Diane was predeceased by her fiancé Gary Nygard; her parents George and Louise Letherbury; and her dogs Dapper and Bentley.
She is survived by her loving daughter Kelly Pekala (John); brother Glenn Letherbury (Maxine); and her beloved grandchildren Haylee, Riley, and John IV.
Funeral service will take place Wednesday (March 4, 2026) at 12 noon at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015 with a viewing beginning at 10:00am. Burial private. Online condolences can be sent via www.batemanallenfuneralhome.com
