David B. Evans, 76, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born in Chester, PA, he has been a lifelong resident of Upland. He was a graduate of Chester High School and Goldey Beacom College. He then went on to work for Westinghouse Electric Corporation until its closing in 1987 and worked the rest of his career at Boeing until his retirement. He also served in the Army as a military policeman.
Dave was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He was a devoted family man and loved spending time surrounded by all those he loved. He will be sorely missed.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles Evans and Leona Reick (nee Forsythe) and his children David Evans and Michael Evans.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Margaret Evans; his loving children Brian Evans (Michele), Kelly Fucci (Dan), and his daughter in law Sherri Evans; grandchildren Brianna, Juliana, Michaela, Brian, Luke, and Daniela; 2 great grandchildren Briella and Aria; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place on Thursday 11:00am-12:30pm with a service immediately following at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Burial private. Online condolences can be sent via www.batemanallenfuneralhome.com
