Catherine S. King, 88,
passed away December 6, 2007 at Fair Acres, Middletown Twp.
Born in Chester, Pa, she was a
resident of Ridley Park for the past 45 years and prior to that she resided in Parkside, Pa.
She owned a catering business with her husband called Kings Catering. She also owned Rush-In Restaurant in Morton, Pa, and The
Sharon Hill Restaurant in Sharon Hill, Pa. She was an honorary member of Parkside Ladies Auxilary and also belonged to the Upland and Parkside Seniors
She was the wife of the late Arthur King for 47 years.
She was the daughter of the late Harry and Ellen King.
She was the mother of Arthur H. King (Esther) of Pottstown, Pa, Ellen F. King of Milmont Park, Pa, Barbara Wruble (Air Force Retired Master Staff Sgt. Michael) of Secane, Pa, Catherine Wetherill (Bill) of Ridley Park, Pa. She was the sister of Harry Schukraft of Aston, Pa, Helen Todd of Primos, Pa, and the late Lucille Miley. She was the grandmother of 8 and
GreatGrandmother of 10.
Funeral service 10am Sunday at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Calling Hours 9-10am Sunday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
