Bruta Carmen Knight, 85, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023. Born and raised in Germany, she moved to the United States and lived in Easton, PA, and ended up in Chester, PA. She was a lifeguard and loved to swim and enjoyed bowling and fishing. She also liked to golf and fish with her first husband.
She was predeceased by her parents Max Kahle and Rosa Anna Kern; her first husband Oscar Mutter; and her second husband William F. Knight, Jr.; brothers-in-law Kenneth Nagy and Steven Knight; and son in law Steve Hansen.
Bruta is survived by her stepson William F. Knight, III and his wife Deborah Knight; stepchildren Marie Knight Hansen, Trudy Dejesue (Steve), Stephenie King Knight (Robin), and Christopher Knight; sisters-in-law Jacqueline Nagy and Mary Knight; and several nieces, nephews, and many grandchildren.
Funeral service Friday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015 with a viewing beforehand from 10-11am. Burial will take place on Saturday 11am at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton, PA. Online condolences can be sent via www.batemanallenfuneralhome.com
