Antoinette “Annette” C. Carr, age 73 of Franklinville, NJ, formerly of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on August 23, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Annette was born in South Philadelphia, grew up in Southwest Philadelphia, attended Most Blessed Sacrament grade school (MBS), and proudly graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in 1967. She was a busy stay at home Mom and while raising her children she decided to get her Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Delaware County Community College. After her children were grown, she worked for the Widener University Law School until her retirement. Annette was an avid reader, was very spiritual, and had a deep faith, but most of all she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Vito and Mary Mina.
Annette is survived by her husband of 43 years, George P. Carr; children, Ron Flagiello, Diana (Ray) Gaiser, Patrick Carr, and Michael (Miranda) Carr; grandchildren, Michael, Mason, Ava, Mia, Matthew, Mikayla, and Alina; siblings, Yvonna (Richard) Orme, Maryellen (Jon) Sokoloff, Joseph (Andrea) Mina, and Natalie (Bruce) Garner; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 9:30-10:45 at Church of the Nativity, 2677 Delsea Drive Franklinville NJ 08322 followed by her funeral mass at 11:00am
Burial: All Saints Cemetery, Newfield NJ.
