Ann Payne, 96, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Simpson, PA, she spent 57 years residing in Brookhaven. She then went on to live in Boyertown, spending 9 years at Chestnut Knoll and the last 3 years in Walnut Woods. During the war effort Ann folded parachutes and the rest of her life she dedicated to her family. She was an avid knitter and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ann is predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years William Payne; her son Ronald Payne (Barbara); and 5 siblings.
She is survived by her loving son Ed Payne (Linda); 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter. Funeral service Saturday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation Saturday 10-11 at the funeral home. Burial Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA, 19014.
