Alfred R. Smith “Moochie”, 71, passed away April 17, 2017 at his home. Al worked for Scott Paper for 28 years before his retirement in 1997. He retired to Bethenny Beach, Delaware where he resided for 15 years before moving back home. He loved spending time with his family at Disney World. He was a avid NASCAR fan. He will be deeply missed. He was predeceased by his parents William and Alice Smith (Ostan); his daughter Candice Smith; his brothers James Ostan, Julian Smith, Fred Smith, Ira Smith, Douglas Smith; his sisters Agnes (Pat) Redden, Natalie (Tillie) Roberts.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Shirley Smith (Snyder); his daughters Regina L. Painter (David Savina) and Crystal Cooley; his son Robert A Smith Sr. (Suzanne); his grandchildren Tara Schnaitman (Gianni), Amanda Raider (Roy), Michael Painter Jr. Liberty Smith, Robert Smith Jr, Brooklyn Smith, Mathew Cooley; 4 great grandchildren; his brothers Frank (Dee) Smith, Andrew Smith (Isabelle), Edward (Chuck) Smith; his sisters Sadie Terry (Clement) June Mayka (Dennis); many nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion Buddy.
