Beloved mother

Adele A. Igo, 84, longtime resident of Aston, Pa, and loving mother passed away January 9, 2011 at Riddle Hospital of a recent illness.

Born December 16, 1926 in Shenendoah, Pa. She loved her family and enjoyed going to the casinos until her health went down. After the war she and her late husband spent 2 years in Chester, Pa, before moving to Aston, where she spent the majority of her life, bringing up her two children.

Adele was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Adele Greenwalt; her beloved husband Joseph J. Igo who passed away over 30 years ago; and her siblings Rev. Authur Greenwalt, Jospeh Greenwalt, and Melvin Greenwalt.

She is survived by her son Joseph J. Igo of Media and his fiancée Joann R. Gatti of Broomall, Pa, her daughter Judy Panfile and her husband Michael of Upland, Pa; her sisters Shirley (Bob) Wallace and Ruth Stevenson; sister in laws Marge Greenwalt and Helen Greenwalt; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday 10am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.

Visitation Friday 7-9pm and also Saturday 9-10am at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Chester Rural Cemetery, Chester, Pa.
