Theodore “Ted” Stahl November 27, 1920 - February 3, 2017

Theodore “Ted” J. Stahl, 96, passed away at his home on February 3, 2017. Ted has been a resident of Brookhaven, PA, since 1960. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Chester for many years as well as FMC. He retired from Stuhl Plumbing Supply in 1985. He was a United States Army and served during WWII. He was a faithful member of Our Lady of Charity Church for 57 years. He was active in the American Legion Post 507 and a life time member of the VFW Post 7213 of Norwood. He was extremely handy and made many birdhouses that he installed in Rose Tree Park. Many knew him as “The Bird Man”. Ted walked many miles all over Delaware County which led to countless great stories he would tell. He had a big heart and would help anyone in need. He also loved to go dancing. He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Mary Stahl; his son Thomas Stahl; and his siblings Henry, Joseph, and Francis Stahl and Mary Slesicki.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Doris Stahl (nee Faverio) who he wed in a church service April 10, 1948; his daughter Patricia (Ernie) Bailey; his daughter in law Laura Stahl; his brother Edward (Betty) Stahl; his sister Teresa Mawhinney; his grandchildren Michael Bailey, Lindsay and Katie Stahl; his dear friend Ann Ege; and many nieces and nephews.

His family would like to extend a special Thank You to his Marshall Road neighbors for all of their kindness.

Funeral mass Tuesday 11am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa. Visitation Tuesday 10-11am at the church. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Our Lady of Charity Church.
