Our goal at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home is to keep all families safe, and will continue to take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously.

As news of COVID-19 spreads throughout our community and the world, we want to assure you that Bateman-Allen Funeral Home is sensitive to your concerns, and are taking measures to ensure the safety of families making arrangements and attending services with us. We have been working diligently to clean and sanitize our facility multiple times a day. We are constantly cleaning and disinfecting tables, chairs, furniture, and doorknobs along with other such items for the safety of the families we are serving and our employees.

At Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, we are doing everything within our power to provide a safe and clean environment for families and their guests. To that end, we have implemented the following practices:

  • Hand Sanitizer to be used and after signing the register book.
  • No Hand Shaking or hugs and please refrain from any type of contact whatsoever.
  • We are maintaining a Social Distancing of 6 Feet between visitors.
  • Hand Sanitizer to be used when entering and exiting the building.

During the public health emergency, Bateman-Allen Funeral Home will be following the guidance of Governor Wolf’s COVID-19 task force and the Department of Health. All services will be private, for immediate family only. No public gatherings are allowed at services at this time in adherence to the `no groups larger than 10′ federal health guideline. We encourage the public to pay respects to the family and their loved ones in alternative ways, such as phone calls, online condolences, or gifts sent to their homes. Should a visitor feel they have been exposed to anyone who contracted the COVID-19, we ask that they stay home. Our policy will change as new guidelines come from Governor Wolf s COVID-19 task force and the Department of Health.

We will keep everyone updated. We will continue to work to ensure that all families are able to celebrate their loved ones however they choose, but we ask that you please assist us in adhering to the restrictions mandated by the COVID-19 task force.

The Bateman-Allen Funeral Home has served the families in Brookhaven and the surrounding areas for over 70 years and will continue to “Guide with Compassion” for our community during these difficult times, and stand ready to help in any way we can.
