Rose Marie D’Aprile, age 79, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Bridgewater, New Jersey. She spent much of her life in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, and Toms River, New Jersey, where she built a life centered around family, friendship, and creating lasting memories.
Rose Marie was born on September 19, 1946, in Chester, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Michael and Sophie Crepack.
After high school, Rose Marie began a family and devoted herself to raising her three children. Over the years, life took her and her family to several different states, and wherever she lived, she had a special way of making a house a home. She cherished the time spent with the people she loved and found joy in the everyday moments that became treasured memories.
Her caring nature also led her to a career in nursing, a profession that reflected the person she was at heart. Caring for others came naturally to Rose Marie. She was compassionate, patient, and strong, with a genuine concern for those around her. She had a way of making people feel comfortable, cared for, and important.
Rose Marie loved to travel and treasured every opportunity to explore new places and share those experiences with family and friends. She enjoyed laughter, good times, and being surrounded by the people who meant the most to her. She was also a devoted Eagles fan and took great pleasure in cheering on her beloved team.
Above all, Rose Marie was a woman who loved deeply. She was kind, strong-willed, and fiercely loyal to the people she cared about. She could be tough when life called for it, but beneath that strength was a tremendous heart filled with love and compassion.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, a loving sister, a cherished friend, and someone her family could always depend on. Her unwavering support and unconditional love were gifts she gave freely. She believed in the people she loved, stood beside them through both good times and difficult ones, and always made sure they knew they were never alone.
Rose Marie leaves behind a beautiful legacy in the lives of the people she touched. She will be remembered for her strength, her caring heart, her sense of humor, her love of family and friends, her laughter, and the countless memories she created throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, Rose Marie was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Crepack, Robert Crepack, and Raymond Crepack, and her sister-in-law, Gladys Crepack.
Rose Marie is survived by her three sons, Thomas D’Aprile and his wife, Denise; Richard D’Aprile and his wife, Shanna; and Jonathan D’Aprile. She is also survived by her brothers, Gerald Crepack and Ronald Crepack and his wife, Jacqueline, and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Crepack. She leaves behind four beloved grandchildren, Brett, Evan, Scarlett, and Shane D’Aprile.
Rose Marie will be deeply missed by her family and friends and by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The love she gave so generously will live on in the people she leaves behind, and the memories she created will be treasured for generations to come. Her life was a gift, her love was unconditional, and her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
There will be a memorial service at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015 on Friday, October 2nd, from 10am – 11am followed by a short service.
