Phyllis Rhoads February 25, 1921 - December 13, 2005

Phyllis Rhoads, 85, of Brookhaven, Pa, passed away at home on December 13, 2005. Born in Marcus Hook, PA, she resided in Brookhaven, PA, for the past 55 years. She attended Chester High School and became a devoted wife and mother. She was an active member of the Church of God in Brookhaven, and formerly a member of Upland United Methodist Church. She belonged to many bowling leagues and was named Chester City’s Women’s Bowling Champion. Loving wife of the late William L. Rhoads Sr.. Survived by her son, William Rhoads Jr. (Marianne), of Chaddsford, PA. Sister of Jack Nash of Chicago, IL, and Dorothy Latch of Claymont, DE. Grandmother of 7 and greatgrandmother of 5. Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 AM, at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Sunday evening 7-9 PM at the funeral home and Monday morning 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Interment Lawncroft Cemetery.
