William Ronald Tyne, known to some as Ron or Bill, passed away May 28th after complications of covid-19. He fought hard following an accident in 2017 and was residing at Brinton Manor, whom the family is eternally grateful for the care he received there.
He was born in Philadelphia on September 3, 1947 and was raised in Brookhaven, prior to moving to Garnet Valley.
He worked for many years as a chemist at Scott Paper, and in his retirement worked for SGS and several car dealerships.
He was an avid fan of harness horse racing and enjoyed watching live races.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judie, who put everything into taking care of him and his health concerns for many years. He is preceded by his daughter, Trudi. He is survived by his daughter, Kelly and her husband, Brian; Grandchildren: Heather and her husband, Brandon, Nicholas, Brody, Teagen, Rauri, and Lachlan and 1 great granddaughter, Tierney.
He will be celebrated by his family in private.
