Sandra “Sandy” Mengel, 66, passed away July 30, 2020. Born in Drexel Hill, she was a long-time resident of Media. She was a graduate of Marple High School, class of 1971 and had a long career at the ACME in Media. Sandy loved to read, cook for her family, and also enjoyed adult coloring books. Above all else, she loved spending time surrounded by family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She will be remembered as a sweet kindhearted soul who would do anything for anyone and will be sorely missed. She was predeceased by her parents Herman and Onella Masters; her son Christopher Edgar; and her brother Albert Masters.
Sandy is survived by her 3 loving children Dennis Edgar, Ryan Mengel (Sheelin), and Maia Mengel; her siblings Jimmy Masters (Carol), Paul Masters, and Laura Masters; her significant other Clifford Mason; her sister in law Dottie Masters; and her beloved grandchildren Kenadee and Carson Mengel.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday 6pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation Tuesday 4-6pm at the funeral home. Burial private.
