Mr. Robert Paul Losak of Brookhaven, PA, departed this life suddenly on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at his home. Born and raised in Marcus Hook, Bob was the son of the late Paul and Blanche (Wrzesniewski) Losak. He was a proud 1954 graduate of St. James High Catholic High School and graduated from LaSalle University in 1958. Bob was retired from Penn Delco School District and spent most of his time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed reading, walking, Notre Dame Football, the Phillies, and his dog Harleigh. He was also active in Our Lady of Charity Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister until his death. Bob was 81 years of age.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeanne (nee Suda) Losak; his daughters Christine Raftovich (Walter), Irene Scheivert (Reese), and Diane Losak-Note (Bruce, Jr.); his brother Thomas Losak and his sister Barbara Sheppard; five grandchildren-Bob, Carly, Alyssa, Andrew, and Bruce; 2 great grandchildren-Brayden and Austin; his beloved canine companion Harleigh, and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday 11am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation 10-11 Friday at the church. Inurnment Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, PA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Providence Animal Shelter, 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, PA, 19063.
