Robert L. Twomey August 25, 1928 - December 13, 2021

Robert L. Twomey, age 93 a long time resident of Brookhaven, PA passed away on December 13, 2021. Raised in Parkside, PA he was a member of the Parkside Fire Company. Robert was a proud graduate of Saint James Catholic High School and a member of the Alumni Association, additionally he proudly served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Robert was also a graduate of Drexel University. Robert was an original resident of Cambridge Estates and an active member of the Cambridge Estate Civic Association. He was also an original member of Our Lady of Charity Parish. Robert enjoyed playing poker, was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan, and was formerly very active in the Brookhaven Republican Party.

He is predeceased by his wife Rosemarie Twomey; son Dennis Twomey; and older brother, Thomas (Gen) Twomey.

Robert is survived by his son Robert S.Twomey; daughters Patricia A. Twomey, Maureen (William) Tomoschuk, and Ann Marie (Nicholas) Smargiassi; his grandchildren, William (Carla) and Brendan (Ross) Tomoschuk and Nicholas and Christopher Smargiassi; and his 2 great grandchildren, Liam and Kiernan Tomoschuk.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 10:00am-10:45am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015, followed by his funeral mass at 11:00 am.

Interment St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Glen Mills, PA

In lieu of flowers: donations in his memory can be made to the Community Volunteers In Medicine, 300 B Lawrence Drive, West Chester, PA 19380.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 10:00am-10:45am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015, followed by his funeral mass at 11:00 am.

Interment St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Glen Mills, PA
