Miriam Wible, 97, passed away February 6, 2018 at Granite Farms Estates. Born in Chester, PA, she was a long-time resident of Middletown Twp., PA
Miriam was a graduate of Nether Providence High School. She worked for numerous years at The School in Rose Valley, assisting kitchen staff, in addition to driving the school van. Mim then became a secretary at Elwyn Institute for almost two decades, until retirement. Post-retirement, she volunteered at Riddle Memorial Hospital for many years.
Mim always treasured her Hawaiian, European, and Caribbean travels with her husband John, as well as summer vacations with her entire family in Ocean City, NJ. She loved needlepoint, crocheting, and knitting, and was an avid reader, and baker. Miriam was a kind-hearted woman who was dedicated to her family. She will be truly missed.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 77 years, John Wible; her son Barry Wible; sister Dorothy; and brother Ted.
Miriam is survived by her son, Curtis (Barbara) Wible; her grandchildren Brian (Nina) Wible, Ian (Katie) Varrassi, and Eric (Tina) Varrassi; and her great-grandchildren Adam, Luke, Caden, and Vincent. Her loving and caring extended family, Carol (Tony) Varrassi and Linda Davis.
