Lester J. “Bud” Patterson, 90, of Upland, PA passed away peacefully February 14, 2019. Born in Avoca, PA, he attended Chester High School before enlisting in the Army at age 17. Bud made a career out of the military serving 16 years in the army and 4 years in the Air Force. Bud fought in Korea at the Chosen Reservoir and fought 2 tours in Viet Nam. Bud is the son of the late Lester and Margaret (nee Stribaugh) Patterson. He was also predeceased by his sisters Lina Mae (Walt) Pomroy, Eleanor (Ralph) Keiper, and James R. (Stella Kordowski) Patterson.
He is survived by his brother George (Judith Davis) Patterson of Upland, PA.
Funeral service Saturday 10am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation Saturday 9-10am at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately. Online condolences can be sent via www.batemanallenfuneralhome.com
