Lauren E. Schutte

Lauren E. Schutte, 47, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, after a courageous 1.5 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was a resident of Upper Darby and graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1997. She had a passion for writing and music, Bob Marley and Tupac especially, and she loved to dance. Most recently, she found so much joy spending her Friday nights with her mom and dad joking around, laughing, and watching music videos. Moments that will always be cherished.

Lauren’s happiest moments were spent with her beloved niece, Mila. She was a strong woman, who always put others first. This last year and a half was a true testament to her strength and resilience. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Maureen Schutte; her siblings April Schutte (Shawn), Robert, Jr., and Stephanie Blackless (Alan); her nieces and nephews Mila, Connor, Grey, Everett, Rowan, and Chance; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
