Jean M. Moulton, 74, passed away September 1, 2016 after a 14 year courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born and raised in Upland, Pa, and lived the last 30 years in Wilmington, De. She was a graduate of Eddystone High School, class of 1960. Jean was the first female to complete the CETA Program as a welder. She worked for Pheonix Steel as a welder and maintenance woman and she retired from Sun Oil as an Operating Engineer. She loved animals and gardening and cherished her pets. Above all else she loved her family and was an extremely devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Margaret Decker.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years Jesse Moulton; her sons Samuel and Michael Marusco; her daughter Jeanne Comero (Chris); her siblings Joseph (Mary) Decker and Linda (James) Pretti; her 3 grandchildren Sammy, Amanda, and Michael; and her 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral service Tuesday 1pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Tuesday 11am-1pm at the funeral home. Burial private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Delaware Ovarian Cancer Foundation, 701 Sweetleaf Dr., Wilmington, De, 19808.
