James “Jim” Gallagher

James “Jim” Gallagher, age 79, of Brookhaven passed away on June 24, 2026.

Jim was born and raised in Philadelphia and often spoke fondly of his childhood there.

He enjoyed painting and spent much of his time pursuing his passion for art. Most recently, he took a month-long trip to Paris, a memorable experience that he greatly enjoyed.

He is survived by his friend and chess partner, Grace Kahn.

Burial: Will be held privately at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Pa.
