Evelyn Tice Harner September 30, 1924 - December 28, 2006

Evelyn R. Harner, age 82, died Dec. 28, 2006 at Taylor Hospice in Ridley Park, Pa. Born in Chester, Pa., she was a resident of Wallingford, Pa. for over 50 years. Life long resident of Delaware County. Employed in the cafeteria in the Wallingford Swarthmore School District for 45 years. A graduate of Chester High School. Member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church in Morton, Pa., Republican Committee Women of Wallingford, Pa., National Gold Star Mother’s ( Mother’s who lost sons and daughters in Vietnam). Wonderful artist and gardner. Daughter of the late Howard and Lillian Tice and wife of the late Richard E. Harner Sr., mother of the late Richard E. Harner Jr. who past away in Vietnam. Survived by two sisters, Connie Biddle of Boothwyn, pa., Doris Benson of Newark, Delaware. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral service Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the Bateman Funeral home 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa. 19015. Interment Chester Rural Cemetery, Chester, pa.
