Evelyn Lewis Morroni, 88, passed away October 1, 2018 at Arden Courts in King of Prussia. Born in Upland, PA, she was a resident of Brookhaven for 53 years. She was a graduate of Ridley High School where she was the Head Drum Majorette. Evelyn was a lunch lady at Coeburn Elementary and St., Johns in her later years but, devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an avid bowler, belonging to leagues all over Delaware County. Evelyn walked daily and loved to crochet, making blankets for all of her loved ones. Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony “Shank” Morroni; her parents Evelyn and Charles Lewis; and her sister Joan Chiappetta.
She is survived by her loving children Anthony, Jr. (Cathryn), Kathy Hagan (Paul), and Charlene Pugh; her brothers Charles and John Lewis; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral mass Friday 11am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation Friday 10-11 at the church. Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
