Elizabeth G. Wallace, of Lima, 91 years old died February 21, 2005. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Elizabeth was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School. Betty was employed by Pierce Business College in Philadelphia as the Secretary to the Dean of Students. She retired in 1985 after 25 years of service. She was a member of The Church of the Holy Comforter in Drexel Hill, and she was an avid traveler. Also, Betty was devoted to her home and her parents. Daughter of the late Joseph and Violet Willey Wallace and brother of the late William, Noble, Joseph, Edward and George Wallace.
Betty is survived by 8 nieces, 1 nephew and many great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service Friday, 11:00 a.m., at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven. Calling hour will be Friday morning from 10:00-11:00. Burial will follow in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA. Memorial contributions are suggested to Church of the Holt Comforter, 1000 Burmont Road, Drexel Hill PA 19026 or The Good Samaritan Fund at Willowbrooke Court Skilled Care Center, Lima Estates, 411 North Middletown Road, Lima PA 19037.
