E. Howard Gilpin Jr. March 5, 1921 - January 3, 2006

E. Howard Gilpin Jr., 84, passed away January 3, 2006 at home. He was a resident of Brookhaven, Pa, for the past 49 years and also resided in Upland, Pa. He was the maintanance coordinator of B.P. Corporation and retired after 42 years. Being a WWII veteran he dedicated 29 years of service to the U.S. Army as well as the Army Reserves. He was survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Shirley Trout Gilpin , of Brookhaven, Pa. Father of Robert M. Gilpin (Diane) of Brookhaven, Pa, and Rosemary Shoop of Newark, Delaware. He was also the grandfather of 6, greatgrandfather of 9, and greatgreatgrandfather of 2. The funeral service will be held Friday at 12 PM at Our Lady Of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Friday 11 AM – 12 PM at the church.
