Duane Bartholomew Peter

It is with our deepest sorrow, that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Duane Bartholomew Peter on August 18, 2022, at the age of 50.

Duane held many titles within our family to include that of beloved son, father, brother, nephew, and friend.

Duane was a native son of Saint Lucia, born in Castries to Anthony and Mary Peter on August 24, 1971. He is survived by his, loving family Manuela, and his children Amera, Anthony and Adrienna, his Mother – Mary, Father – Anthony, Brothers – Dwight, Dave, Dale, Devon, Delan, and Darrel, Uncle – Redis Daniel, Aunts – Marlyne and Marvis Daniel, 10 Nephews and 3 nieces and his Dog Vixen.

Everyone who knew Duane, knew that he was compassionate, sensitive, and a caring person. He believed in justice for the underprivileged and became a voice for them.

Duane was ahead of time; his perception and philosophy of life demonstrate his intelligence and creativity. His Perseverance and tenacity encouraged him to never give up until he got the job done.

His ultimate goal was to do whatever it takes to help his family and make sure everyone was comfortable. Duane was a protector.

Duaneā€™s LOVE for his family was pure and simple; he loved us all as we are.

As the representative color green, he had an astonishing brilliance and a ubiquitous presence, impacting every life he touched with his brilliant mind.

Duane, we love you and you will always be in your heart forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 9:30-10:45 a.m., with a service following at 11 a.m., on Thursday, September 1st at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven. Burial will be in Chester Rural Cemetery.
