Bernard J. Marth December 21, 1929 - December 26, 2006

Bernard J. Marth, 77, passed away December 26, 2006 at his home in Brookhaven, Pa. Born in Chester, Pa, he was a life long resident of Delaware County and lived in Brookhaven, Pa, for the past 37 years. He was a graduate of St. James High School in 1946 and was a manager at Conrail where he retired in 1989. He was a member of Our Lady of Charity Church, Brookhaven, Pa, and St. John Fisher Senior Citizens, Chichester, Pa. He was a corporal in the United States Army where he served with the 558th Ordinance Company in Germany. He was the husband of the late Anna Reichert Marth who passed away in 1999 and father of the late Lisa Anne Marth. He was survived by his children Kathleen McLaughlin of Aston, Pa, Diane Brodie of Mineral Wells, WV, and Jack Marth of Washington State. He was the brother of Rita McCarthy of Claymont, DE, and Joan McLaughlin of Boone, NC. Funeral service will be held Saturday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Saturday 9:30am – 10:30 am at the church.
