Barbara J. Miclitis, 76, passed away peacefully at Riddle Memorial Hospital on March 26, 2023. Born and raised in Parkside, PA, she has been a resident of Glen Mills for the past 36 years. In her younger years she was a hairdresser. She loved to paint and enjoyed working on crafts. Above all else, she loved spending time with her friends and family.
She was predeceased by her parents David and Lucille Jones.
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years Albin Miclitis, Jr.; her son Ryan Miclitis; her grandson Luke Miclitis; her two siblings-her twin Diane Wright and Patricia Ipri (Art); her nieces Claudia and Jodi; and her former daughter in law Colleen Dorrin.
Funeral service Friday 12 noon at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation Friday 10am-12pm at the funeral home. Burial private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
