Anna “Nancy” M. Speakman, age 80, of Aston, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family on November 9, 2020.
Born in Chester, PA, she has been a resident of Aston, PA for the last 50 years. Nancy was a homemaker and an in-home day care provider. Nancy then went on to work at Aston Child Care and St. James Pre-School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Nancy enjoyed going on family camping trips to Avalon, N.J. In her leisure time she enjoyed just sitting back and reading.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, John H. Speakman; her parents, William and Margaret (Dywer) Whibley; her grandson, Dennis Speakman Jr.; and her brother, Frank S. Whibley
Survivors include her children, Dennis Speakman of Garnet Valley, PA, Debbie Speakman of Trumbauersville, PA, and Darlene (Howard) Lofland of Aston, PA; proud grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 6; also survived by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, November 14th from 12 to 2 PM at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Avenue Brookhaven PA 19015. Followed by her funeral service at 2PM. Burial private.
