Alice Goldsborough

Alice Goldsborough (nee Perozok), 95, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2024. Born in Butler, PA on September 23, 1928, she resided in Glen Riddle, PA for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, C. Spencer Goldsborough. Alice used her gift of hospitality to serve others through the years by opening her home to Child Evangelism Fellowship, Williamson Trade School & West Chester Nursing School Bible studies, international students, and missionaries as well as family reunions, Sunday dinners, and neighborhood pool parties. Alice had the joy of the Lord in her heart and shared the gospel with whomever she met, touching many lives with her handwritten “Thoughts to Ponder.” She was a fierce prayer warrior who put Jesus and others first before herself.

Alice is survived by her children, Dennis Goldsborough of Glen Riddle, PA, Donna Blair of Felton, DE, and Darryl (Alice) Goldsborough of Coatesville, PA; Grandchildren, Amy (Mark) Steinmetz, Megan (Jim) Plousis, Jill (Brian) McLaughlin, Michael (Kim) Goldsborough, Aaron (Cindy) Blair, Jamie (Charlie) Reed, Benjamin (Kara) Goldsborough, Rose (Aaron) Harris; 20 great grandchildren, Evan, Ryan, Nathan, Abby, Chris, Alex, Ava, Aidan (predeceased), Logan, Ethan, Ellie, Olivia, Rosie, Alexis, Chas, Lily, Sam, Joe, Jane, and Sparrow; Sister Ruth Seaman; Brother in law Richard Goldsborough & sister in law Lola Peterkin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday February 2nd at Faith Community Church 3515 Edgmont Avenue, Brookhaven, PA. Visitation 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Service 2:00 p.m. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA at a later date. Arrangements by the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, Brookhaven, PA, 19015.
